These cover the Sproutnicks app. This website, the episodes on YouTube and the printable sheets are covered by separate terms of use.
Acceptance
By creating an account or using Sproutnicks, a parent or guardian agrees to these terms on behalf of their family. If you do not agree, please do not create an account.
The service
Sproutnicks is a library of short episodes for young learners, each with a quiz, fun facts, a certificate and an activity. The catalogue grows over time. We may add, change or retire individual topics.
Accounts
Accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure. One account may hold several child profiles for one family.
Subscriptions and purchases
Where a paid plan is offered, pricing and billing are handled by the App Store or Google Play, and their standard terms apply to the purchase itself. You can cancel or manage a subscription at any time from your store account. Where no paid plan is offered, the app is free to use.
Acceptable use
Please use the app as intended, for a young learner's own use. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access it in ways it does not intend to allow, or use it for anything unlawful.
Our content
The episodes, characters, art and design in Sproutnicks belong to Ozaar LLC. Your family's use of the app does not transfer any ownership of that content to you.
No warranty
We work hard to keep the app accurate, safe and available, but it is provided as-is, without guarantees. To the extent the law allows, Ozaar LLC is not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from use of the app.
Ending an account
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that misuses the service or violates these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app grows. Continued use after a change means you accept the update; a meaningful change is also flagged to signed-in parents directly.
